Grazing Alpacas by Lisa House – Mixed Media

Lisa is a Northeast UK based artist creating atmospheric, textured landscape and still life paintings. Inspired by nature, travel and her local surroundings, her work exists in a delicate balance between instinct, emotion and refined technical skill. Each piece invites the viewer into a quietly immersive world that feels symbolic, soulful and dreamlike on both a conscious and subconscious level. Alongside her evocative landscapes, Lisa creates still life compositions where inanimate objects intertwine with birds and animals, forming collections rich in character and quiet narrative charm. Her exploratory mixed media approach, often incorporating fabric and layered materials, has become a distinctive signature within her practice, making her work instantly recognisable to collectors worldwide. Her most recent body of work introduces new symbolic elements inspired by dreams, meditation and sound baths, deepening the spiritual and intuitive dimensions of her visual language.
